Hey Guys,

Intro-
I am planning to do some mods now that I finally got my bike back from storage. But I want a little down time as possible so I am trying to get all of my ducks in a row.

Stupid question-
I would like to change plug wires (yes, I know, lots of discussion about types, performance, etc). But, I wanted WHITE wires. Does anyone make one that will fit our bikes?

Alternatives-
Could I use plastic spray or would this cause them to arc out?
How about shrink wrap?

Thanks,
jason

I'm not sure if anyone makes white plug wires for these bikes,or if the spray would cause issues, but, there is no reason you can't use white heat shrink tubing over them.

thanks cefox!

is it possible to take a boot off to fit the tubing over the wire or will tubing large enough to fit over the boot shrink down to the plug wire diameter?

Thats a good idea. However, they state "use only with points or magneto ignition systems". hmmm, i'll look around for other kits though.

I found this
http://www.powersportsfx.com/sa/cart/detail.asp?pg={4F181EE7-8509-4EFB-AC60-7363F9EB1736}

its protect a wire and their silver is pretty close to white. also, this frees me up to buy whatever plug wires i want.

thanks for the suggestions!
