Have the ability to superimpose this with a map of Japan?  I know that weather patterns and such have different effects, but it may give us an idea of the potential scale of disaster.

Funny, I had just finished reading your post when on comes a segment on Mourning Joe (MSNBC). AN American news woman is reporting from the parking lot of the Chernobyl nuke plant. She reported that they are opening the area up for tourism.
We sometimes forget the 100s of nuke bombs exploded through out the 50s and 60s in the SW USA. The fallout just drifted with the prevaling winds east through the midwest and east.

No we don't forget, check my location the test site is about 60 miles north of here. Extremely high incidence of cancer in the "downwinders". That would be Eastern Nevada and Western Utah.

Just sort of dropped in on this thread while taking a break from watching and listening to an interview with British Scientist Christopher Busby, conducted by Alex Jones. Busby reveals info not released by mainstream media concerning what might be really going on. Just saying (regretfully) it might not be too pretty out there.
