 LED lights and in line resistiors

Could anyone give me instructions on these? I've hooked them up according to the package, and the way I think they should be with the same result. Blinkers flashing at the same rate as without the resistors!
Also, should they get hot? If so how hot?
help!

Where are you putting these LED's? Directionals? or on the console? Some LEDs have resistors in them all ready, Sandman is the man for this!!

If they are replacing your signal lights the resistors are for laoding the circuit in order for the flasher relay to work.
If they are signals added to existing incandescent lights the load resistors will be redundant because the conventional lights provide sufficient loading.
If they are used as running lights only the load resistors are not needed. If they are left in the circuit they will get very hot and burn/melt whatever they touch.

It sounds like you are replacing turn signal lights... that true? If so, just the front, just the back, both?

I've put them inplace of the front signals, only goung with rear led's. when I bypassed the fronts with out them, I blew a fuse. It seems to be working ok now. Thanks!

Any place that deals with CC, V Twin, or Drag Specialties can get you a load resistor made for replacing std. turn signals with LEDs. They make a small one for just 2 signals and a larger one for all 4.
