Hi everyone. I've been trolling the forum for a couple weeks now and thought I would post up pics of my new ride. She's a 2003 America. Bought her from a local dealer with just under 12k miles on. I've had her for a week and put about 200 miles on already. I've never owned a cruiser style bike but it's been fun so far. Within 5 minutes of my first ride on the streets I had someone shout from their truck "hey Triumph dude, nice bike!". Respect the Umph. And a pic of my 1976 Bonneville that I rescued from a basement in Maine. She's in a sorry state in pieces around my garage but soon she'll be an angry cafe racer again.

Nice looking ride. Congrats.
That '76 seems like a fun project too.

Actually, not the carefree highway. It's the end of Elsworth Rd right in front of Salt River rec tubing place. If you're familiar. The 76 is going to be a long term thing. I actually bought the 03 to keep me from going stir crazy as I work out the "how-to's" of my first big bike project. Needed something to ride until she's done.

Very nice ride you have Ryan. Welcome to the machine. Bestest colour combo imho.
funny thing about trumpets and colour: the top of August 2007, the first week I had Cinnamon Girl, I received more comments from the proletariat as I rode her through Texas, Oklahoma, then eastward to the Gold Capital of Georgia, then Vera Lynn had since I indentured Vera and rolled her off the showroom floor Oct 2001.
Red really elicits comments. Black is just badazz.

When you get right down to it, faces are highly overrated in this day & age Dwight,
But back to Ryan's bike's,
I like that 03, but a 1976 oil-in-the-frame T-140 was the first bike I ever sat on, owned, kick-started, rode and rode. I'll be interested in hearing more about his restore project, if he chooses to share it on these humble pages. I was older then........

Don't know if you need any parts for your 76 or if a '73 can be a donor... Pinwall is parting out a '73. Don't know the model but worth a look!!! http://stores.ebay.com/PinWall-Cycle-Par...d=p4634.c0.m322

He ain't lying!! While cruising on the interstate, I had a dude in a truck cut me off just so he could wave and give me the thumbs up through his rear cab window.
Gorgeous color combo though! Sheez, I think that's like the 3rd Black/Gray I've seen in a row. FJ's REBOOT, another chap's, and now this one.
I do like that decal(?) on the battery box there. Half S&S and half UJ... very nice.
