Hi all !

I already try to use the search engine of the forum but it's not so helpful that it could be.

For example, I searched "popping" but no matches found.

So I put a customized Google search engine on my site. It only search in the forum of www.bonnevilleamerica.com (ie: www.bonnevilleamerica.com/forums/*) and the entire site www.triumph-america.com (ie: www.triumph-america.com/*).

It's very effective (That's a Google one ) and it's here : Special search engine for Triumph America and Triumph Speedmaster

Results are in french or in english, according from where they come.

It's the standard version of Google customized search engine (ads)

I do not read/write english very well. Thank's to be patient. Triumph America/Speedmaster French community : http://www.yogourtnoway.com

That's a good addition, especially if it works better than the one on this site. I never had much luck with the one here.

The biggest problem with the search engine on the forums is the Date Range. I've never wanted to search only a week back. I always delete the number and reset weeks to blank. I did that and entered the keyword "popping" and got the maximum search results (300).

Good to know !
I never saw the date range field

You better set default to one year

I've just seen that sometimes, the numbers of pages are insane (links at bottom).
I guess Google staff will fix that . It's a beta search engine.

And I don't know how to set the number of results per page.
Now it's 4 results per page ... (+ ads)

Thanks for this info, Thierry!

BTW...I've noticed your name missing from Nick's Euro Rally Braz Austria thread. I have to say when I attended Pawel's Poland Euro Rally last year I had a great time, and found that I've never been around a nicer bunch of people!

And so, if you can possibly make it to that rally at the end of July, I highly recommend you attending it this year.

(and besides, I don't know if anybody has ever represented your Tri-Color Flag over there at that rally, and so this might be your opportunity to do so!)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Not if you use a bog standard claw hammer . . . I find a 3lb club hammer does the trick
