Dwight needs to combine his bikes for the best of both worlds:

source

As an aside, I picked up a Scrambler T-100 style sprocket cover off ebay for modding. The sprocket cover on this bike is about what I had in mind for it.

You mean wrong forum. I debated that. It's technically a standard Bonnie. But it could be based on an America or Speedmaster. Primarily it's a Hinckley Twin.

But I also wanted to mention CUSTOMIZING a stock sprocket cover...

Thats pretty cool. An angular tank to match that seat section would really make it sing.

I like the sprocket cover, less IS more!

yeah forum, thread, needle, whatever you crazy kids are calling them these days..haha

Yeah John, I'm gonna be pretty pisd off if this bonne stays in the customs section. Its time you learned the rules around here. Had the title been "T-100 sprocket cover modifications" it would have been a different case. Your title puts off the impression that the motorcycle in the picture is the main focus of the discussion.

****** its a slow work day...haha

Yeah that cut up cover is pretty cool. I could see there being some times where the sprocket grime inside there would be a bit nasty looking.

My other thought was to cut not quite so much off, and add some "speed holes" in the portion kept. I dunno. I'm going to grab some dry erase markers and start drawing on it before I do any cutting.

Kinda thinking something close to the bottom-left example:

Top left is stock. Top right is kinda what they have on that street tracker. The bottom right is a little too much I think.

Bottom left is the coolest...

Lower left!! or... cut a silhouette of your bulldog, engrave it, have "hidden" spokes holding your bulldoggy over the driver sprocket. I just learnt how to post pics, don't ask me to post drawings!!!

Yep, John. If I had the money, that's exactly what I'd do with a newer Bonnie alright....make a Tracker out of it, kind'a like that one here, and maybe even a green one like this one too. Yep, kind of like green Tracker "bookends".

(and BTW, I also think the sprocket cover on the lower left looks best)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

I like that spade cover bestest of all!

Yeah, that's pretty much where I'm at. That's why I like drilling holes. It's easier.
