Bought some Triumph Tear Drop mirrors and I thought some pictures would help others in deciding their options. The quality is as expected from Triumph top notch and the visibility is very good. They are a big improvement on the stock Mickey Mouse ears. Sláinte Derek

Yep been thinking about changing the mirrors on my Speedy and they look just the job. Only I will go for the solid stalks, rather than the drilled.

Have now installed my new, solid stalk, teardrop mirrors and they look the mutts nuts. However, the instructions recommend I tighten them up with a torque wrench. I haven't done this, I just tightened them up with an allen key. Do you reckon this matters too much?

It only matters if you over-tighten a nut and break the bolt. If you didn't break the bolt then you're fine.
Btw Derek, nice mirrors mate. Probably why Triumph has stuck with the Mickey Mouse Ears knowing riders will buy their after market stock. I can't think of any other reason why they would stick with em other than of course price?
