Be aware that Lithium Ion batteries wont receive a full initial charge from a typical battery charger. They need a 13.9-14 volt output to bring them up to their initial charge. I recently bought a Shorai and had to buy a Shorai Charger/Maintainer with it's propitiatory attachment plug to fit the darned battery. Somehow I missed that part of the required expenditure in the fine print, back when I first bought the battery. Do they work? Yes, and very well, if your charging system is up to snuff, if not, you need to occasionally top off the available charge with the charger, as indicated, by checking with your multi meter. YMMV
