Before I embark on this project...is it difficult to replace the front rotor and pads on my America? Assume it's an hour job but you never know.

At 7,800 miles and 1 month out of warranty, the low speed pulsating actually makes my stomach sick...seriously...like I am on an amusement park ride. Really bothersome since I am trying to focus on using my Front Brakes more.

Probably get those EBC ones on newspeedmaster.com.

I guess I could take it to the local dealer (1hr away) to check my valves and then debate warranty on the rotor.

thanks

Replacing the pads are easy, and the EBC are good ones. Never done the rotors. As far as the valves, most of us have waited until 10,000 miles or more before adjusting them, unless you know of a problem.

Said it many times but happy to repeat it. The rotor SHOULD be an easy job, but be carefull on those 6 little allen head bolts holding it on. Heat em up top and bottom (you can get to the tip of the screw thru the spokes with a pencil torch) to loosen the locktite. The screws are $6 a pop!! Otherwise it's simple. The pads will probably take longer! An impact driver would help too. Sale week at Sears

Edit: Thought I would include a few pics of my old rotor, and my new rotor

Thanks. I knew there had to be a trick here.
Guess I'll plan a trip to Sears this weekend. Bummer.

Well I did mine without an impact wrench, but Moe said it went real easy with one. Just get the manual hammer activated one. It's like 20 bucks. And handy to have around.
