Ok first admission, this is the first Triumph I have owned ( but not the first Brit )second admission I sold a 1975 Kawasaki Z900 prior to buying the Speedy.
Now that is off my chest may I pose a question. When I was rebuilding the Z900 I was looking at putting the original 4 into 4 pipes on it. Now here is the crunch, I couldn't trace down originals and copies went for + $1800aus. Apparently if a set of originals could be located the asking price could be over $3000aus ( $2300 us ) this begs the question, in 20 years time will people be looking for original BA & SM pipes?????
I doubt it but that is what everyone probably said when the took off the 4 into 4's and replaced them with 4 into 1's.
