What are you using? Where do you get it? I am pretty sure I used the v twin 15w50 mobil last time but the only motorcycle related store in town closed down and the other parts stores don't have it.

Quite a few guys seem to like the Shell Rotella, I run Amsoil 20/50 motorcycle oil only since day 1. I buy it at Napa.

+1 for Rotella T6. I used to get it from TSC, however I have not seen it there in a while. WM is another potential source.

I ran a tire and lube for 5 years and at the time Mobil 1 and Amsoil were the two best oils on the market. Tests showed one slightly better in one aspect while the other was slightly better in others but the differences were negligible. Nothing else was close. That being said this was about 11 years ago and I haven't researched it since.

I used M1 red cap until the formulation changed, then switched to Rotella T6.

My local TSC had Rotella T6 in stock yesterday; however, the pre-tax price for a 1 gal jug was $32.99. I didn’t expect that, although perhaps I should have. So, for the first time ever, I read the fine print on the Rotella T4, and to my amazement, T4 is JASO-MA/2 certified. Given that these days I have minimal cold weather exposure, and over the past few years my riding has been limited (by issues beyond my control), the 15w/40 T4 got the nod. The T4 was also on sale for 10% off the listed pre-tax price of 19.99. So, we shall see.

Have to watch for friction modifiers in non-motorcycle oils because of our wet clutch.
