Well - I went the lazy route and just ordered the “stage 1 kit” from triumph twin power. It’s easier to have it all in once place and the correct tune, blah blah. So, I did the deed today; pulled the O2 sensors, plugged the bungs, installed the new air filter and bellmouth. The tune is loaded, ecu re-adapted. Now, when the rain stops (prob tomorrow at this point ) I’ll employ the butt dyno and see if I can tell the difference.

I think you'll be happy with the results. What is the adaptation interval for the ECU?

The last step in loading the tune was to reset adaptation, which took about 15 min of idling for the tps to reset. I’m not sure what the timing is on riding for it to adjust to the new set up, etc. But the baseline is there.

The butt dyno says there’s definitely some improvement. Though I’m getting lots of decel popping. So not sure what’s up with that.

Might need some more throttle time...if that does not improve, check in with Mike in UK.

Well, sure! I assumed that was already done.

I took the AI off this past weekend and got her out for a ride. Wow - what a difference! She runs super smooth, even on "engine braking" (for lack of a better term..) - NO (zero, nada) popping at all. It was pretty prevalent before. Taking off the AI, along with the other mods that came along with the TTP "Stage 1" kit seem well worth it to me.
