Long time no post.

Site has changed... not sure I'm a fan of the white and blue site, but life goes on. l liked the mellow colours of the old site.

Had a short ride today to go see a friend.
Haven't ridden the bike in a long time.... we made a camper van and we spend most of our free time in the van.

Still is nice to escape once a while and ride free.

Nostalgia bit....
Every time I ride out, I tap the backrest. It used to belong to our good Friar John. He was graceful to send it all the way to the other side of the world. We used to chat once a while. Miss him dearly.

Ok, trying to link the picture from my dropbox account because the Gallery only accepts 2k images... 2k really ???
Sorry... you'll probably have to click on the link.

Ditto on the new site — I have mixed reactions to it, too.

I miss Friar too. Was in Helena for a few months and spent a windy, cold afternoon in the East Helena cemetery to try and find the good Friar’’s resting place without success. Sigh.

The last time we got together he swapped me a beautiful Triumph leather jacket that he’d won at the Nelson BC rally that year. It was hopelessly small for him; nearly so for me! Still have it and ride with it. The zipper’s backwards though, like the roads in UK, lol... Had the priviledge of going a few wild rides with him and Freedom years ago. Last time I saw him he was talking about his dreams for BA.com... Miss the brother.

Hello again. Man those are some good looking tips on the exhaust I bet a good machinist around here might have made them. First time I've seen them on a bike.

Thanks guys!

Yeah, it's been a while...
And yes, that good machinist around here made them. smile

My America mostly sits there in the garage, begging me to go for a ride! I manage to get a quick ride once a while.

She's in need of some TLC. I'll get around to take care of her at one point.

Just seen the exhaust tips i made for your bike and realized that the finning matches the cylinder head finning. Bike looks good.
