Hi All,

We have just released our new Fire Starter Performance igniter unit. We've had many requests for the Fire Starter to be a direct replacement for the factory unit and THIS is what we came up with.

If you have any questions, please ask, thanks.

This seems like a step backwards. I prefer the relocated Gen 1 Fire Starter. Other than the OEM fitment, any other changes with the Gen 2?

It may seem like a step backwards, but we had far more potential customers going elsewhere because 'Gen 1' wasn't OEM fitment than we had customers that were happy to relocate the unit under the seat.

No changes to 'Gen 2' other than fitment.

I like it where the original was placed. I'll be putting mine on next week.

We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

can you set a higher redline with the Firestarter? Any limitations?
