Am I right in thinking the rear tyre is
170/80-15 ME880 and more importantly....is this the tyre people recommend for more miles per tyre.( I have been reading that these tyres are more harder wearing)??

Im currently achieving 6,000miles on a rear Bridgestone,im not sure if that is considered good or bad, but I would have expected more. ( I dont ride like Im on the run!)

Any advice would be appreciated

Regards

RodYork

i have 10,000 on my stock bridgestone with an 880 waiting to be installed. most on here go with 880's or venoms. mileage depeneds on how and where you ride

I got 20000km (about 12000 miles) out of the stock bridgestone. So far I've had 15000km (9300 miles) out of the Metzeler and it still looks new. I do about 40% highway/mountain runs and 60% commuting.

I'm working on swapping those percentages around, without reducing the rate of use.
