The United States was never on board with control and Russia with China has backed off of any revisions of the agreement.
I believe the petition alone is an email trap. Find a great cause, if not make one up and collect emails.
Just my opinion on the thing. I could be wrong.
I try to aggravate one person a day. Today may be your day.

#1 Give up your address so they can bug you for money, to right the wrongs of the world, the NRA of which I am a lifetime member are always hitting me for a contrib, each and every time a politico mentions gun control, and only more money will help to shut them up. It is a proven method to make capital, just goad them good and ride the peoples emotions to free wealth.

Probably correct about the E-mail trap, but it's always a good idea to keep members informed about this threat and by the way never say never.
