Since it was an experiment, I went dirt cheap, the tire brand is Duro ($75) and it's a 130/90-17 on a TBS stock front wheel. Yes, it handles and corners just fine. I can't make it slip and I have tried.

Very nice! What did you do to the right side engine case? It looks like you gave it the GFG treatment? Really like that tire and wheel, and the tank badge, too!

I bought the rough unfinished cover and guard, poof-canned 'em black and worked the fins out with a 2x6 inch stone, took about 3 hours of whittling to get it acceptable. BTW, no complaints about the machine work for the case mating surfaces and the stator mounting.

Issue may be mine, perhaps my AV app is blocking the pic host site. Bummer.

Ditto, from the pics they almost look like they're leather wrapped. Would like to know about the custom sleeves too.

If your talking about the cable wraps, they are spiral cut black and red plastic tubing, terminated with shrink tubing, unsure what you mean by sleeves? I'm honored you like it, nonetheless.

what bars are those?
The bars are Jardine solid billet, took me 2 1/2 years of searching to find suitable risers as they were discontinued (bars and risers)5 years ago.

I have the bike apart again, I'm going to change the tail and headlights again. I'm on the hunt for a retro 8 inch single headlight, right now.

When I saw the photo I assumed the tubing was a type of sleeve something like this.
