Thing is looking really good! I like the paint a lot. You really need to trim those rear signal posts. There are lots of ideas on how to turn them down on here.
2008 Speedy, AI removed, DIY airbox destruction with K&N filters, spectres, re-jetted and "custom" rattle can paint job.

Wow! I think I have a new favorite around here, Paul!  Well, it's certainly in the top three or four of 'em now, anyway! VERY nicely done!  (...and yeah, I think Zach might be right about the turn signals...how about gettin' some of those clear lenses with amber bulbs that FastEddy sells and puttin' 'em on while you're at it too)

Thanks for the kind words fellas. I agree about the signals, especially the width of the stock posts. I do remember seeing a thread about cutting them down but seemed like some machining if I remember correctly. Is there an easier way?

I bought a set of Harley Nightrain mirrors in black i'm gonna try out...didn't like the bar end mirrors. I'll post some pics when I put them on and the powdered backrest I altered a little.
Sorry Moe...I almost sold it in the fall, but really glad I didn't.

I gotta tell ya, it's always nice to have a vision of how you'd like to have your bike look and then actually go that route without knowing or being sure of how it will turn out and whether or not others will see what you visioned. But you guys have given me great feedback of what I wanted mine to look like. Thanks again for all the great comments and tips. Gotta say, none of this would've been possible without all of the really great guys from this site!!!!

I cut a spare set of signal post down for my 07 BA. here's the link to the thread on how I modded them...

There is a kit you can purchase from british customs that will work & it is linked in the same thread. It worked out to be about the same $$$ as my DYI mod but surely wouldn't have been as much fun.
BTW...I really like the paint work you've done, looking very sharp and fast!

Really Really nice , i love the contrast of those colors, forks look great in black....... for me its just the seat, but i never liked the factory seat, otherwise killer bike!great job.

I'll tell ya Paul, they BOTH look great, BUT, I don't think I'd repaint the other tins. Just buy ANOTHER set for your all red set. Yeah, I know, not EVERYONE can make room for SOOO.. many tin-sets.  My secret, throw out some of the ol' lady's shoes to make room!  No Dear, I was only joking.

I hear ya on the red/black set. I do like them but thought an all Cardinal red set with a tan leather seat would look great also.
