Previous ride:
2008 Kawi Ninja 650R. I put about 10,000 miles on it tearing around the coast of California.

Overall, I'm enjoying the new ride. The cruiser position seemed a little uncomfortable at first, but I'm getting used to it. Adding the flyscreen to block the windblast from my chest made it far better - I don't have to keep a hard grip on the bars all the time - Above 65 mph, it felt like water-skiing, holding onto the bars tightly to brace myself against the wind.

Also getting used to the very limited lean angle. First time through the twisties I sounded like Gene Kelly tap-dancing with my pegs! I guess I'll have to be a little more creative with the body english to keep the bike more upright!

These things really stand out at bike nights. I feel like I have a sign on it that says "Hey old guys! Come tell me about the Bonnie you bought in 67." used to ride!

Welcome to the site, nice bike, and your right geezer magnets, but great bikes. Ride safe.

You have the same path I did.

Just before my America, I had a Ninja 650R.

I still miss the Ninja at times, but the Triumph's been an amazing ride ever since it came into my life!

Enjoy it!
