Well that sure is different! Looks like some nice work there. I like the fork shrouds as they have some nice trim work on em too.

Thanks Soren, Being a woodworker, I couldn't help myself. Most of the wood (veneer) is Bubinga (African Rosewood). It all started with the dash to cut down "sunglare", and went from there. I cut out the "Triumph" logo on the sidecase on my scrollsaw and is held on with high-temp double-sided tape. So far all is holding well, but don't like to get it too wet. If nothing else, it's unique.

Huh, didn't even notice the veneer work on the console... maybe the pictures were a little too grainy (sorry, couldn't help that one). But nicely done there Larry. What kind of wood did you use, or is it more than one kind?
Live to love, love to live.

Nice work on the shrouds...Ive always liked nice wood (stop it you perverts!). BTW...the colors on your bike are one of my all time favs (next to black of course). The red is so deep and truly unique (yours is the second Ive seen unless you tell me you bought that bike from a female Island RAT member).

That looks great. I met you at the last TRAP breakfast, and you were talking about your bike. I like it, I hope I get to see it in person soon. ~Brent

Most of the wood (veneer) is Bubinga (African Rosewood) including Fork Tubes, GFG Sprocket Cover, Headlight Eyebrow, Dash, Battery, and Mirror Inlays, with Cherry strips on the tubes (tops & bottoms) and Road Lights. The passinger peg finishers (replacements) are Bocote' (Not veneer). The Speedo is wraped with Purple Heart. This is what can happen when you have a bike for 3 years and are a woodworker who doesn't do chrome. Thanks for the koodo's.

Since there seems to be an aversion to fork reflectors here, color them GONE..... the road lights show orange to the sides anyway.

Thanks for the comment. I've got it in there to replace the Sprague Clutch (starter) that went south. It was striped down a bit, without the saddle bags and back rest. But, as they say, "it's a work in progress." Still got a few ideas to work through. Wood is more fun than chrome (and cheaper!)

The purple heart wood compliments the paint color nicely. You definitely have an original!

I'm a pro, son. You gotta get up pretty early to slip a piece of photo manipulation past me.

Well, actually the enphasis was supposed to be on the bike. I just liked the background until I get out there and get a shot for real, which will be real soon. AND, thanks Soren!
