Very nice all around package, super attention to the details as well. I'm curious as to what brand headlight you used for your swap and is it a high intensity? I'm considering fabbing up a bracket for a dual mount headlight set up and your H. light looks small enough to make what I envision happen. I like the way you got that Lucas tail integrated with your signals as well. Now you need a mini speedo to give balance as to the smaller light, IMHO, But yeah, it's your summertime, "Ride Man Ride"

I have been thinking about changing to a similar master cyl. for the rear brake to get rid of the ugly one that is stock on our bikes.

yes thats a very nice ride. I would like to see a close up of the gas take with the console removed. What did you do about that endentation for the wires and stuff that the console covers

where did you get that front fender. there is really alot to like about that bike. also the front turn signals I need some smaller ones.

Yes, very nice! That seat however has got to go.
2008 Speedy, AI removed, DIY airbox destruction with K&N filters, spectres, re-jetted and "custom" rattle can paint job.

Cheers, The headlight came from PANIC CYCLES but they don't list it anymore, I just searched Alloy headlight on ebay and there are some similar but without the fins, and I agree the speedo needs shrinking!

To do the tank (there is a post here somewhere) I cut out the endentation and welded in a new section, then brased a harley fuel bung into place further forward. Then of course tank liner applied inside.

Cheers, Front ender is a Harley 21 inch Softail (from local shop) with the side mounts bent and re-drilled shorter, then trimed. Easy job if you have a drill, hammer and vice! The front turn signals are Lockart Phillips brand and the BEST place to get them is here at BRITISH CUSTOMS as they have the best selection and best price (after my searching anyway)

Cheers, homemade seat fits perfect... but agree it could look better, just don't want to fork out dollars for a custom one (sponsors welcome? :-)

Did you do your own brushed finish on the engine covers or buy some from a T-100, Thruxton or Scrambler?

They are Bonneville covers, you can read about the change on this post.

Cheers, I have some big baffles in the ends so they're about he same as D&D's, but the tone is not as deep (if that makes sence). I had a short ride without baffles but lost a little bit of bottom end power....they sure were loud then as you suggested!

I'm the same as Paul - don't care about them too much, I just regularily check the oil level pre-ride.... my plan is to replace the speedo with a smaller unit that has idiot lights included.
P.s. Idiot lights are not required for registration in Aus,

Cheers, The fender is about the same width as the tyre tread but as only the centre of tyre touches the road I get pretty good protection from it.

Great job on your bike. I think you have been asked on every mod you did except for those front pegs. I really like that set up you have there and I would love to copy that. Would you mind sharing your insight on how you did that. Did you fab that up yourself or was it something you bought with the rear master cylinder and all. Thanks for sharing your bike, gave me lots of ideas.
