Life for this bike started out on the wrong foot ( crashed at 67 miles) but I was fortunate to find it and had big plans. Brought it back from "salvage condition" and made it fit my 6' size. A bit of cutting and welding a little paint some WW and here is the end result
If it isn't broke ...break it ! then you'll have something to do !

Refresh my memory, did you use the stock rear fender or an aftermarket one? I've always liked the look of a rear fender mounted to a swingarm. That said, I still like the old tank better.

That fender can't be stock but Dennis will fill us in for sure. Nice to see you bike again Dennis... your creation earns a lot of respect from me and others I'm sure!!!
Live to love, love to live.

I disagree. It's at least possible. The brake light and license plate indents would have to be filled and the whole assembly rotated forward. It's doable, I just don't know if the view is worth the climb when you can get decent AM chopper fenders for a hundred bucks.

Thanks for the kind words guys. The rear fender is a JJ unit that I trimed up to fit then mounted to the swing arm.

Dennis, I hope you realize that some of us can never see enough of your bike around here! And so, what say you take another picture of it with that new standard Bonnie tank and new exhaust system on it, and from the very same angle as that older[top]picture many of us around here have viewed before(and drooled over), just for comparison purposes. And, while you're at it, how about maybe posting a dozen more or so?! (...like I said, some of us around here can never get enough of seein' that beautiful and extremely tastefully customized bike o' yours around here, Bro!!!)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

And make them available high-resolution. If there's ever a customs-focus calendar put into production here your bike might just have to be on the cover...

I'll try and work on some new pictures, but in the meantime I have a few more I found..... This first one is a "spy shot" of dertbikedennis on the first ride of the reassembled bike.

Only thing you're missing is a custom seat by ClCustoms. Just saying.

Lovely bike and oh so very, very different. Fantastic job on the rear guard & seat. Not sure what you did but it certainly looks a lot different and much, much better than the stock arrangement.

The old tank was better.
