I just can't stop myself. I have a new 1-1/4" giant holesaw available in addition to the original 1-1/2". There is one more 1-1/2" out there in Wisconsin with the long 1/2" bit. Who's up next? Mike Sr.

Mike Sr.- How does the 1-1/4 sound compared to the 1-1/2??
Michael - It's for drilling out the stocker pipes.

It's for drilling out the baffles through the end of the stock pipes. it increases the air flow out of the engine which "should" give ya a little more power... it'll definately change the sound. I dug up the old post about it in the archives. That should answer any questions ya got. CLICK HERE

Yoshi,
Don't know. Mongo just pawn in game of life.
Sorry about that.
I have not done one yet with the 1-1/4". I made it for a another BA member that got new pipes for Christmas and have yet to try it. I think it will look a little cleaner on the ends of a BA muffler. The 1-1/2" looks perfect on the SM pipes. Some have said my SM is a bit loud(I love it), so the smaller one should be a bit more mellow. Email me an address and I'll send it out. I did not require a jet change till I messed with the air cleaner. But unless you open up the air screws and remove the AI, be prepared for some serious popping.
Mike Sr.
P.S. I see you are near Tinly Park.

Hey Mike
I have the saw, my computer crashed and I had to wait till Imok got back to me with his address (he was way too patient) he's next on the list that I was aware of so as soon as the PO opens it goes out to him today.
Iposted the results of my effort on the other exhaust link. I wnet for a ride the other day in teh snow to see how it sounded...it is great!
I stopped at the end plate, took only the end tube out because it sounded like I was looking for, the tone dropped and volume went up. I waited a week till it warmed up to take it for a ride and see what it sounded like, I may drill holes later in the spring when I can take it out at high speed (you don't get very fast driveing on ice and snow at 23F) I am blown away that such a simple thing made such a difference in sound.
It was so easy too, took about 20 seconds of drilling on each side...note: use a better than 1/4 horse drill I didn't over work it, but it killed it. Wenbt slow as instructed and it went through with no trouble.
Thanks Mike. I am sending the drill bit with too and keeping them together.

Hi Ed, Glad you are happy with the results. There are now two of the 1-1/2" and one of the 1-1/4" out there. Next is 1". Like I said, I can't stop.

Hey Mike, For tracking purposes. I sent the long half inch drill bit with the 1 1/2 in hole saw to ImOk in Jersey. I kept them together because that was how you sent it to me. Again, thanks Bro. ed

MIke sr
Thanks for the offer but i'll see what i can do about rounding something up here. I've already drilled a series of holes in my pipes and it doesn't sound too bad now, thinking of ripping the baffles right out and getting single ones made.

Yes, a formidable weapon. Made the thing at work and the boss asked what it was for. I told him I moonlight as a proctologist. He left me alone for a week. Mike Sr.

Man, Mike... thanks a heap!
Thought I'd have a prob when it wouldn't fit on my 3/8 drill, but an adapter, socket, and 10 minutes of use, I'm ready to pass on the 1-1/4. It was just too easy. The saw is pretty much self centering, and will take out the center narrow pipe (that creates the dreaded 'popping'). I had to dig out the first one, but the 2nd came out in the center of the saw. The adapter and socket will go with it. Who's next?

This fine piece of hardware, hand made by Mike, is still available, and the price is right! FREE! That's right, FREE! Get your 1-1/4 inch holesaw today! Well, I've been holding this for a while, just a reminder to let anyone interested know it's ready to be shipped to the next in line. The only requirement from Mike is that you ship it to the next, no strings.

I got pounded for making a friend laugh while drinking. He sprayed a just un-wrapped pizza that was then only edible by him. I had to by another pizza for the group. It was worth it! Mike Sr.
