The AI system is the same on all bikes. The only difference on CA spec bikes is the vapor recovery system. I would recomend leaving the vapor system alone unless building a show or race bike, because it doesn't harm performance (other than adding maybe 2 pounds or less to the weight) and you might get a little better fuel economy because you get to burn the evaporated gas that would otherwise vent into the atmosphere.
