Hi Everyone- on my 06 America my front end has a bad pogo effect bounce. Anybody ever get this ??? 15000 miles fork oil original. Low mileage pilot commander Front tire. Any ideas??? Anybody ever run ricor intimidators? Plan on changing front oil, however some forums say it’s my tire but I don’t think so. Appreciate any help, Thanks Bob!

Well, a 06 with 15k miles & the OEM fish oil in the forks is...ahem...suboptimal.

I run Ricor Intiminators in my 07 SM, with preload adjusters & custom length PVC spacers. It works pretty well. And when Ricor specifies the use of Amsoil 5w fork oil, they mean it. Really.

At the very least, do replace the fork oil.
I agree with the Intiminator option. I tried a progressive wound spring for a while to improve front end dive and less than optimal front suspension. Went back to the EOM springs and added the Intiminators (with cut PVC spacers). I preferred that option. Not a fantastic change in performance, simply better for my needs on a cruiser.

You are compensating for the dropped in Intiminator. So the cut PVC spacer + the space of the drop in = length of the original metal spacer that will no longer be used.
Think it was 1&1/4 inch (maybe?) PVC. I had scrap thick wall PVC on hand to cut the needed shorter spacer. * cut a PVC or similar spacer to length, do not cut the OEM metal one to fit.
