I'll be honest I'm not a NBA fan. Till his death the only thing I knew about Kobe was his college career, that he was a NBA star and his sex scandal from many years back. From what I've read from non NBA folk and non-news commentators, the man found redemption in his family and his religion. I've read testimonials of things he has done , both money and time, for the less fortunate that Kobe refused to publicize. Not only refused to publicize, but forbid those involved to speak in public about.
RIP Kobe.
