No I am not talking about a propensity to dawn hats with horns and swing axes I am talking about a legitimate ailment. aka Trigger Finger. Right hand middle finger, it occasionaly will lock in the contracted position. Wont that be fun on the motorcycle next spring.

That's happened to me a bunch of times. Awkward, uncomfortable and on the bike, potentially dangerous.
Try hand exercises and naproxen.

1000 Mg Turmeric capsules from a reputable source, once a day relieved the same symptom in my hands. YMMV

A friend owns New Roots Herbal I'll ask him about the Turmeric and take it for Jan and 1/2 of Feb while in Mexico. Planning to see a specialist in March just in case it doesnt go in my favour.

From a little research Turmeric may also help with flushing Uric Acid. I use a celery seed/black cherry herbal now to help keep gout in check Love fish and seafood but it doesnt always love me so perhaps this will allow me a few extra servings of it while in mexico.

I swear by black cherry to keep the gout away.

Try Cordyceps, mildly dilates your Aorta and consequently slightly lowers blood pressure and heartbeat rate at rest and stress, also increases stamina by improving the amount of Oxygen transfer from your Lungs and into your Blood (the Chinese Olympic Teams all take it). I take powdered Beet Root and Celery Seed extract and was able flush my High BP pills down the toilet. Many Pharmaceuticals are merely a synthetic copy of what's readily available in nature. On the other hand, Health Food Stores sell thousands of worthless herbs, vitamins, etc products, and use the beneficial products as proof they are all good for you, so caveat emptor. German supplements are rated the best at purity and listed strengths as their Govt makes them strictly adhere to truth in their package labeling.

Cordyceps.... the description is rather off putting

However as you say many things from Big Pharma are just synthetic copies of what occurs in nature.

To revisit this the finger has not been locking up as much or is as painful when it does which could be as a result of the warmer weather but then it did it when in Mexico back in January. Been taking Quercetin as a potential buffer to the Covid virus and a natural Gout remedy which keeps it in check, a lot of Celery seed in that. So not wanting to load too many variables into this body I held off on the Cordyceps.(other then the fact they creep me out)

If looking for brand of herbal that is very pure I personally endorse New Roots Herbal available in many stores and yes they are friends of mine. Their lab is now certified to the highest standards of the pharmaceutical industry but better still they are two of the most warm caring loving and ethical people you would ever like to meet and take great strides to ensure quality and conformity of their product. They also compete in the European market with the high standards of German products as Ryk mentioned.
