 Cams help please

Hello everybody, my two cams are excessively groved on the journal areas. I need to send them to a shop who can build up journal areas with metal than turn them back down to proper size. Does anybody know of really good honest shop I can send them to? Thanks Bob

The journals or the lobes? If it is in fact the journals you probably need the head done too if anyone is doing that yet. If not then a replacement head. I know there is a guy doing Honda dirt bikes. He welds the head up and rebores them.

HADDON1, IF IT'S THE CAMS GIVE WEB CAMS A CALL. YOU'LL FIND THEM ON THE INTERWEB. IF IT'S THE CAM JOURNAL AND CAPS ON THE HEAD THEN THERE IS A GUY I WAS TALKING TO IN TENNESSE WHO REBUILDS HONDA AUTOMOTIVE OVERHEAD CAM JOUNALS AND IS WILLING TO DO TRIUMPH HEADS. I HAVE TO LOOK FOR HIS NUMBER CAUSE MY FILE SYSTEM IS TERRIBLE

Or you can buy a head and cams off an engine in the classifieds ...

Marty's right, you could swap out the cams for higher performance ones for probably the same price.

Marty, I hate to break this to you but Carlos sends his cams out to Webb Cams also. It takes the right equipment to grind and heat treat cams from a blank
1200CC BIG BORE, W/WISECO PISTONS,.250 STROKED CRANK, PORTED/POLISHED HEADS AND LARGER VALVES, CUSTOM WELDED EXHUAST, DUAL 42MM MIKUNI CARBS.
