Let's say you search the web for a bike tire, now wherever you navigate, even though you decided on and bought a tire 5 days ago, it's tire flashing ads, dropdowns and pop ups ad infinitum. Send this passage to yourself via email: " Sam! A loud ringing of one of the bells was followed by the appearance of a smart chambermaid in the upper sleeping gallery, who, after tapping at one of the doors, and receiving a request from within, called over the balustrades -'Sam!" Now checkout the lack of ads thrown at you, Google doesn't have a clue how to link that meaningless passage to a personalized ad campaign. Try it, it works everytime I have used it so far.

Recently loaded an updated ad blocker myself and things are much better on the ad supported sites / search engines. Went with Adguard. Search and you will find a few options, I'm using an older MAC machine browsing with Firefox.

Ryk do you use Google mail or does that refer to any server? I am not sure how sending that to my Rogers account will do anything but worth a try. Then maybe I'll try Adfender because I am sure the speed of my relatively new computer is slowed by all the advertising.

Epic Browser. Ghostery plugin or Ghostery browser if mobile. Pale Moon too. Google blows. Try alternative search engines like DuckDuckGo, etc. On iOS stuff reset often the advertising Privacy>Advertising>Reset Advertising Identifier and while there toggle Limit Ad Tracking. Although it is kinda funny when the wife picks up her ipad and all these adds for motorsickle stuff pollute her web pages.

Motorsickle ads would be a lot better than ads for hot MILF' s nearby.
