Any one have some firsthand experience on this product? kit If it works as advertised, great, if it's a flawed concept, then not so much. Nobody likes the taste of asphalt.

I know that idea has been around for a long time. I like the idea but I just don't think I could trust it. BMW and I think Moto Guzzi have tubeless spokes.

I believe the BMW/Guzzi rims are engineered to begin with, to be tubeless. Big difference to me. I want to try it, I just do not want to eat shat for being innovative and different.

I am interested in this kind of idea. I did some research on this kit and another one some time ago. Having a tubeless tire would seem to be an advantage for on the road flats. My dealer (pretty smart, older guy) wondered if there would'nt be a problem mounting a tubeless tire on a rim that is designed to fit a tubed tire. He believes that tubeless tire rims are slightly different in the rim seating area, having a "bump" that the bead seats in. And a tubed rim doesn't have that "bump".

all my tires are tubeless tires mounted with tubes on a spoke wheel. I think all tubeless tires can be tubed, but not all tubed tires can be tubeless or something like that

Yeah Dave, that's what I am looking at now, tubeless tires with tubes. As I am at the point of a front/rear tire install and have gone to a TBS hub with a 17 x 4.25 rim and an America hub with a 16 x 5.5" rear rim, I am toying with eliminating the tubes and wondered if anyone saw, heard or experienced anything with the tape seal/tube elim. product being marketed and could provide useful feedback. A youtube vid made by those who stand to profit from sales might embellish a little, know what I mean?

Not sure but tubeless tires should run slightly cooler, and of course less unsprung weight, which with oversize tires, I am maybe already pushing the limits of my suspension. But what I really like is fixing a flat with a plug/co2 kit 85 miles from anywhere in Eastern Montana. I am going to take a hard look at a naked Speedmaster rim and a America rim side by side in the tire bead area as I have both available at the moment. Thanks for sharing that, Rich

They look different but sort of neat. I wonder if those wheels are available in our sizes on the aftermarket? Who actually makes them?
We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

Some eyetalian outfit, I think. I backed off on the idea because spoke rims do not have the safety ridge for capturing the tire properly. But I was looking at a tape seal system, available on ebay, not engineered tubeless spoke wheels. Those suckers are probably $1800+ a piece.

The only thing I do not like about my Triumph is the lack of after market support. I bought a new 18inch spoked rear wheel for my Cafe Sportster for $300, it was sealed and tubeless. I ran this wheel for 3 years with no problems, I sold the bike but I,m sure its still doing just fine. The new sealed rim came off eBay.

Until Triumph has half the market share Harley has, I doubt if things will improve much beyond what it is now. The best option if you want what isn't available, is to get creative, and also get a relationship with a machine shop for the aspects of the project you can't do yourself.

Ryk, I have a Tiger 17X4.5" rear on my bike and just turned it around. No need to lace my OE hub to it. Are the TBS rear hubs different?

I do not know if or had any experience with Hinkley rear hubs except for the rear America spoker hubs I have laced with a 5.5 rear rim. I suspect rear TBS hubs fit fine, but I can't validate that to any degree. Again you would have to rotate the TBS rear 180 degrees as the sprocket and brake caliper is run on the opposite side as to our bikes. One may be able to use a TBS swingarm and flop that too. I have wondering if the TBS sprockets would interchange fore and aft, a 530 chain is rated substantially higher than 525s, ostensibly, they would last a bit longer for roughly the same price..

Got also a Tiger T400 rearwheel with 17inch in my america. It is a straight swap, turned the wheel 180 degree, bolted the old sprocket on it, even used my old sprocket-carrier-rubber (hows that thing really called??). Just make sure that your tire runs the right direction.
Did not go for a fatter tire, just a 150/70/70 - wanted it for better cornering, not for the looks. Also have some Bonneville SE-Shocks in it as they are longer. With mounted sidebars you do not see the difference, but when you ride it, it puts a grin in you face. Real Clubracer now.
