basically Chris is saying he's mapping out the Friday route so if it sucks then everyone gets wasted!

I bought new rain gear, so maybe we'll get lucky. It's usually when I'm NOT prepared for it that the weather turns to ******.

there is a nice flood warning for the whole Hannibal area now.

Maybe some snorkeling gear would be more appropriate!

or we could build us a raft like Huck Finn

What is the weather looking like? NOAA says heavy rains tomorrow? I do not have rain gear, and won't ride in that crap.

Well CRAP.... The AC went out at my house today Soooooo....it doesn't look like I'll be able to attend the rally this weekend as I have to arrange for new AC installation & be around for the HVAC techs.

Eddy, please cancel my shirts if it's not too late. PM me if it is & I will arrange payment & shipping.

I'll be there rain or shine. I have rain gear but even if I didn't I've discovered that I'm fairly water proof.

Come on, guys! Get your butts on the road and act like you got a pair. The weather is not bad once you get to Hannibal. Look at the forecast for Hannibal, folks.

We made in home a little before 3. Approximately 400 miles in 7 hours. 2 stops for gas and 1 for brunch. Great weather for the ride, but 5 minutes after pulling into the garage the rain hit.

Thanks Dave for putting this rally together.

Thanks again Dave for taking this on this year. I had a great time, and certainly wish I didn't have to take an early exit.

I took Highway 79 south home today, same road we did yesterday and from all the rain last night several sections were flooded. I had to back track and find alternate routes, which I did, and we'll be riding some of those in the future!! If you guys think we were a little nutty for going through that water in Grafton, you should have seen whet I encountered on my way home! There was water axle deep on one road, I had my rain gear on anyway so I plowed though and water was spraying out over my head and I was laughing my ass off thinking of what that must have looked like!

I'm glad everyone had a good time, I wish the whole group could have stayed together for the weekend, but there will be another one!

Made it to my Arkansas rally. Only one pop up thunderstorm near Mexico, Mo. Lasted about 10 minutes and clear and hot the rest of the way. It was great meeting y'all new folks and as always great seeing old friends. I got a good story from my ride that I will post later.

Had clear sailing all the way back up to Wisconsin. It sucked riding the slab the whole way but at least I made good time. Good to see you all again!!

I dodged a few t-storms in Mo on the way home. The nasty stuff in Nebraska never made it to central Iowa. Dry all the way. Dave and Chris, thanks for all the work.

The starter switch I had rigged up decided to short out and fried the starter. Push starting for the rest of the week till I get home. Who wants to bet on how long it will take to get one from England?

I would order a switch, pull that starter and see if a local shop could rebuild it.

My plan exactly Mike. No warranty anymore. On top of my magazine right now. All my friends are taking turns pushing.
