Have they all but vanished? Does anyone know anything about the whereabouts of both the Pony Express and European journals? Did anyone get the journal from bigjack (may he R.I.P)?

Big Jack had this to say in 10/04/12... "Guys,as winter is fast apon us Z offered to UPS the Journal back to me.It's now in my hands and will be at the Georgia Rally in the spring."

So, I'm guessing by the lack of response to this thread that the journal is pretty much forgotten? For me it's hard to come to terms with it not being around anymore. It was a sort of glue for this community... and a rich and priceless testament to the human side of these forums. If it's missing and forgotten I for one mourn it's loss while hoping for a chance that it just might show up again. Seems you're right Keith, BigJack was the last holder of record. I don't have any contact numbers for Diane. If anyone else does, a shout out to her would be in order. Wasn't it Jack R.I.P., who started the journal? Pony Express /BA.com Journal reports

Wasn't there some discussion about one of Jacks relatives attending one of the rally's? The Great River Road Rally in 2013,2014 maybe? However I don't think the person made the rally.
I hope I'm not dreaming up these events but it's in lodged in my grey matter for some reason.

Jacks son was intending to attend the '14 rally but was not able to make it. I believe that fast eddy is able to make contact with Jacks family.

Guys called and spoke with Diane and she mailed the Journal to Mikemm03 today (Friday the 12th/Sept). I told her the folks here wanted to carry on Jacks tradition and she was more than happy to pass it on.

One of my favorite memories was watching Jack go through the Journal (I think at the Southwest Triumph Fest when Nina and I brought it back from Texas). He as like a little kid, grinning at each entry and living large through the travels it had made.
