My fly for free status is currently on hold since daughter left Jet Blue for 6 months, or I'd find a way to get there. 2000 round trip highway miles not do-able at the moment either.

Too bad fins came in by mid 50's, the design house of Ghia was working with Chrysler on some models that would have fit right into this show and might have made it to production.

That Timbs has "lets do it on the car" written all over it

I can't remember his name, buut there was a guy in the bay area that built a close copy of the Le Sabre with a V1710 engine. He used the unsupercharged export version* but it still went like stink.

* In the late 30's and early 40's, uncle sam felt the turbocharger was of such stratigic value, even our allies weren't allowed to have them.
