He has not, but the All Brit Bike and Car Show is next weekend and since I have 2 bikes to show, I asked him if he could ride it there for me. I'm not sure if he's available though

Make sure you brief him on the reverse foot control thing.

got my forks rebuilt and a new battery in there! I've put a little over a hundred miles on the Daytona and feeling more comfortable with the right foot shift now, probably wont be long before I take it one some back country roads. I'll have the Go-Pro with me when I do!

That bike has way more pick up than I was expecting. The pics don't quite do it justice. It's in really sweet shape.

Finally got some back road riding yesterday afternoon, it was great to get the motor opened up and see what it will do. I got it on the highway for a while too, seemed to run just fine at high speed. Speedo might not be calibrated right though, had it up to an indicated 90, but it didn't feel that fast.

Great to see a beautiful classic in the right owner's hands!

last night was the local Vintage Bike Night, got my buddy out on his mint '71 CB750 and he snapped this pic of me as we rode down the highway

Damm that Daytona looks small!

If I got on a Daytona these days I'd make it look like a mini bike!
500s and 650s were BIG bikes in my late teens. Now they look like 350s.
Even the 750 Honda 4 is comparatively small these days. They were monsters when they hit the market.

Dave,it's a bike you have!

Damn that puts it to scale! What a small bike, or you are 7-feet tall.

Cool looking bike, Dave! A 500cc TR6 is why I fell in love with Triumphs. In the 60's Daytona 500's and TR6's weren't considered small, like Paul said.

It actually sits a lot taller than it looks, seat height is higher than my BonnAm and it's quite comfortable.

Even if I do look like a bear on a bicycle
