At first I thought it was a bad battery...NO (even tried brand new battery). Voltage is good. I have power to the solenoid and the starter button. I can jump the solenoid and it will turn over but not start. If I push the starter button nothing happens, it does not matter if the stand is up or down. I have to be overlooking something? Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance

Sounds like a fuel issue. Is there a fuse for the fuel pump? I would start there.

The fuel pump is working. If I turn the key and push the starter button before the initial "buzz" stops, I can get it to run for a couple of seconds. Then it just dies. Guess I'll check for a starter relay issue?.

There are several cut out switches other than side stand. Clutch lever is one that can get faulty. Neutral safety switch, tip over switch are some more.

I think this tells you it's a fuel pressure failure. Might be a swollen/ruptured hose or the pump/pressure regulator but I think you can discount any other items and concentrate your efforts there.

Dave,
Any reason why you start another thread for the same problem when the other one wasn't resolved? There were a number of questions asked that weren't answered. Not going to ask them again.
Good luck!
