Got the bike home Sunday... took a few hours and swapped some parts... stock mufflers back on, bags gone, rear seat gone, passenger pegs and the ugly brackets gone, backrest gone and stock rear shocks gone. I put some Progressive 12s with custom springs on and the missus has informed me I need some chrome shocks so that is down the road. I would also like to add a leather fender bib as well as the rear fender has some marks in the paint from the rear seated mounted. I may just try and rub it out as well.

Well, if I was looking for fast, 790cc of twin power wouldn't be my first choice anyway! bwahahaha

I dig the green! I'd like to have a T100 in British green. That would be cool!

You might also like a low-profile pre-04 Sporster chrome fender rack, & a lay-down plate holder on that one.

I have used lay - down plate holders in the past and you are likely right about it smoothing the look from the rear. I have other things that need doing... new brake pads are #1, I bought a leather rear fender bib as the stock pillion made marks on the fender I can't seem to rub out, a centerstand is coming, a set of risers coming and I am going to mount a Spitfire shield as soon as I get some 1" bar clamps (have 7/8 " now). I might also get the seat worked or buy another seat and definitely need some floorboards... hate the stock pegs with cowbody boots.

Unfortunately, this is busy time for my business and I don't get to ride in the great weather as much as I would like. Russell, where abouts do you live?

I wonder how a dark brown leather seat would look against that cool Triumph green?

I have made a couple changes... new windscreen: Slipstreamer Spitfire, chrome Progressive Suspension 90/140 shock springs, risers on and Mustang fender bib. I have some floorboards coming and when finances allow, will get a different countershaft cover, battery cover and lay down license plate holder. I will likely get the seat modded as well for comfort.

Wired nice ride. I really like the Goodwood Green. To bad nobody told you that Mulberry is the fastest color Triumph porduces. So fast they couldn't even display it on Satxron's magazine... It's a secret..

Well it's a very nice bike in Goodwood Green and white. But I just can't believe no one commented on the nice Goodwood Green and white little barn. Just lovely and Serendipitous. Mmmmm.

I bet he rode it to Home Depot and got a color chart.

I have several shop buildings. One for my business; one for working on a bike; one for parking my trike and a workshop for home projects and gun smithing and my business office and one is a small carport which I use to keep a project bike and junk. All are green and white except the office which is beige with green trim. I have two car ports which are white with green trim as is our house. The pump shed and tool sheds are also green. The dog house (big one) is green. My Goldwing trike is green. There is a pattern going here I think.

And for those who didn't like the stock plate holder, I am fixed that issue. You can also see my new floorboards in this pic and I have a heel/toe shifter coming. Only a few more doo-dads and I will pretty much be done. Seat fixed or replaced, chrome cover for battery and chrome countershaft cover. I might go with some cocktail shaker pipes if I can find some that are not too loud.

Can't say green is my color. But the bike looks great. And the lady's right. It could use some chrome shocks.

Bought a fake ostrich seat and TOR pipes from Hillbilly Bob, a gentleman farmer from up north. He sold his BA and had a few things on CL. I will be looking for an ostrich-look tool pouch and fender bib to complete the look!

Your bike looks great!

Do you have a closer pic of the new counter shaft cover?

Cheers.

I reside on the high plains of Texas, Lubbock.

I really like the ostrich seat, any idea who made it?

On a side note, didnt you have a tall sissy bar advertised in the classified section? You still have same?

What brand and finish (i.e. glossy etc) did you use to paint the console? Also, how did you prep it? After nine years, the chrome covered plastic on mine is starting to show its age.

Didn't buy into the hype, you can keep the change.

Woooah. It's looking better and better every time you post a picture. The new saddle really accents the green paint.

I used Krylon plastic paint. I think it was matte as the purpose was to stop blinding at mid-day. It won't last that long as it scratches easily. The good news is that it isn't hard to repaint. I scuffed it up, primered and painted. Nothing fancy. I had considered stripping the plastic-chrome as I saw a youtube video on how to do it and then use RIT black in very hot water to dye... another youtube video but decided to just paint as my wife wouldn't be happy with me boiling RIT on her stove.

Turns out the seat is stocker that is covered by:
http://www.sweetassseats.com/

I sent them a note through their site asking about a fender bib but haven't heard back. I sold a sissy bar awhile back. I will try and take a pic of the countershaft sprocket cover as I really hated the look of the stock cover.
