Thinking about what to do to my 2009 America when it gets cold and am not riding it so much. It seams like I should put some front brake pads on, probably should have when I had the tire changed last October. Might as well get some gaiters put on. And while I am on the front end, why not have some new front bearing put on. Can anyone recommend a good set of bearings?

What are you guys doing in the off season, either normal maintenance, or just project-wise?

How many miles on the '09? I can't imagine bearings needing to be replaced on a bike that new.

Almost 13,000. I was thinking it would be easy enough to do bearings while doing gaiters and breaks, more preventive than anything.

No way bearings need any work with this few miles.
