Just got back from 6 days on the road to a run in North Queensland. Went with 5 mates who insist that I should always ride in front while they travel in a group about 400 metres behind. They reckon that this is because I am the oldest-methinks that the fact the America does not have a hd badge and I also have a screen and stereo plays some part in this. Then again they may not like Jimi,The doors, Led Zep etc. Setting up tents at run when a new arrival on a hybrid BMW fully loaded tried to take a vertical line straight up the steep hill next to us. To his credit he got 60% of the way up before gravity took over. Broke a clutch lever but still enough left to ride home so pride hurt more than anything. Reckoned it looked like a piece of cake!!!!! A great time was had by all with the green stone ginger wine being very popular!!!along with copious beers of course. Twenty seven degrees or so without a cloud in the sky-not bad for the middle of winter. Its a hard life down here but someone has to do it!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like the best of all worlds. And I would think it to be perfect if it wasn't for all those scary creatures you have down in your part of the world.

Mixing words like "riding motorbikes" "in 27C, blue skies" and "in winter" sounds indeed like the best of all worlds.

What ... Kiwis?
You mean kiwis breathe? Man, I thought they were a fruit. Do they taste like chicken?
