I haven't been on the sight in almost a year since I bought a house that I am presently renovating and hopefully close to moving in. I was shocked to get on here tonite to find that we have tragically lost 2 members. I don't know what to say, speachless. If I remember right I did get to meet Larry Shep at one of the NorEast Rallies at Dinqua's old house but I never got to meet Friar John personally, but read many of his postings and conversations. I just don't know what to say. It is a sad nite for me just knowing that we have lost two fellow bretheren to tragedy. May you rest in peace and my condolences to your families and loved ones. Not sure why I was not able to post to the actual post, so I made this one. So Sorry!

Yup is one of the reasons that made me come back. Not being here all that time is something I cannot get back cause they are gone now. Made me feel really bad inside.

Yeah, same here, I've been very busy and now it seems like I might have to relocate so I've been very absent from the site for a while. I was shocked to hear about the loses, couldn't believe it. I could post on their threads so I'll just post here.
My condolences to their families and loved ones. RIP Friar and Larry, you will be missed.

Triple wow! Seems that I wasn't the only one absent for a while who was shocked about the loss. Not much can be said that hasn't already, so I will simply reflect on the fond memories of friends now gone. RIP guys.

I too have been gone from the site and am shocked at the loss. Am so sorry for all of us, specially Friar's family. He was way too young.

They knew the risks.... we all take a risk every time we go out on our rides...it happens. Personally....I could not think of a better way to go out.
