I hope I can get the 64 ridden in so I can take her. It would be my first chance to go since I don't have work that weekend.

I don't think I'll be able to bring the 64 but I have plans to ride over on Saturday with my buddy Porter. Maybe we'll see some of y'all there.
The 64 is running well but with only 85 miles on the new top end a 360 mile day in the twisties probably isn't the smartest break in routine. I'm pretty happy with the one kick starting procedure but I think I'll go for bedding the rings in completely before attempting an all day extravaganza.

We'll have the giant "BritBike.com" banner displayed, come on over and sit a spell!!! I'll be arriving on my America sometime around noon on Friday, as my 72 bonneville is still awaiting repairs from accident. No John, I will be riding the America, leaving early Thursday morning to spend the day at Deep Hole Recreation area to do a little trout fishing and spend the night there, then on to Hiawassee Friday....Four oh four, Four four four, six oh seven seven is my cell...Weather forcast is EXCELLANT

The giant banner was not easily seen and I did not find you nor was I able to find Randy from British&American. Doesn't matter, Porter and I had a neat little mini-Georgia rally riding over to Riders Hill in Dahlonega before taking the back roads to Hiwassee. Nice display of vintage iron with some modern Triumphs mixed in and a lot more Hinckley's attending as current rides. This BSA Firebird Scrambler deserved a Best Of Show:

Here's a few pics of the camp....Our "BritBike.com" banner did'nt make it this year....I rode my America up, and had no mishaps through 150 miles of riding on Saturday... "Mississippi Suitcase" Bill "Nonameman" rode his 69 BSA from Ohio. Now THAT is the face of a BSA rider! Bought the bike new in '69! Bill Gould, David P, B717doc, Mike, Greg, and Dennis "Tales from the Road" around the campfire".... We all had a great time, but rode home in the rain on Sunday I told my tale of the "mysterious Indian woman" I met in Hiawasse the week before...very entertaining! Best part was everyone very mature, and NO PORN! My kind of rally!
