Since the parking deck incidence during the 4th of July weekend, I've been dealing with the insurance company and back ordered parts. If there is any consolation, I wouldn't have ridden in this heat. Hopefully, the bike will be ready before the Hot Springs open bike rally in two weeks. Will I ever ride a motorcycle again? 
Didn't buy into the hype, you can keep the change.

I know how you feel. Work and weather has gotten in the way of my riding enjoyment for the last three weekends. I need a week off just to catch up!

Eggghhh!  We had our "Hotter than Heel" Run this last weekend. 107 was the official high here on Saturday. We pulled a short hundred miler. Fortunately there were a lot of little stops for refreshment.

If this would have happened during the spring or fall, they would put me in a straight jacket. However, since its so friggin' hot, I'm remaining calm. The silver lining in this whole mess is that my favorite time of year is just about here- Fall!

Finally got home during daylight for the first time in 3 weeks and went for a ride. Wasn't long but damn it was nice to hear the pipes!

Installing new front tire on my '05 tomorrow, then will ride to the Barber motorsports park in Birmingham Alabama next month for the annual "Vintage Festival"...Killer event, lots of old Triumph parts, airshow, and vintage racing.....ya'll come on!!!!

Hot Dog! The first hint of fall this morning. Woke up to temps in the 60s, high for the day 79 . I'm sure most of you are going to be riding today (Labor Day). Now, if only the parts come in this week.....
