My name is Jeff Green, I was born in Jersey, lived in Mich./Dallas/Philly/St.Louis/ N.C./ and now reside in South Florida. I live here because my skillset is known to the surrounding communities, and to pack up and be a stranger in a strange land with no existing business ties in place, or repeat clientele to do business with, isn't very appealing. Work has been very good to me here, and the weather isn't too bad either, except for the occasional hurricane. Very similiar to Keith's story, I never rode a bike ( regularly), until Motorcycle school. I started on a little 250cc Rebel, 2000 miles later, sold it , and sought out my Triumph. I did'nt know where my dream bike was, but I knew what it was. I sat on one day at a used bike lot, and immediately liked the fitment of the bike. From that moment on, I new that this was the bike for me. So one day I happen to be at home, and my roommate says, when u gonna get a real bike? ( he has a Victory with a 106) Well then, that got the search going. It was no doubt fate that brought

my America to me. I immediately jumped on Craigslist, and there she was. The posting was 1 hr. old, and I was the first person to call. I bought it the following day with no test ride, but yet a thorough examination. The guy I bought it from is also a Trumpeter, and we still ride together some weekends . Life's good, stay safe everyone !!!

I'm a 50 something maintenance supervisor for a packaging company and live in upstate NY not far from Lake Ontario.Been riding since I was seven but haven't had a bike since 2013 when I sold my Scrambler. Just picked up an 03 Speedmaster to get back into riding. This is my third Triumph as I had the Scrambler which was an 06 and I also had a 73 Triumph Tiger I restored.

Hi fellas! New guy here. Great to have found this online Bonneville forum. As of now, I'm still at the learning curve, but once I get a grasp of the basics, I'll be buying my own. I'll look around the forum for more info, I know I'll be learning a lot from the experienced members here. A very nice day!

Welcome to BA.com. Danny. If you are a new rider may I suggest the MSF 2 day begginers Mc course? It teaches you the basics and in this state you don’t have to take the drivers test part for your Mc endorsement and possibly get a break on your insurance. Hope to see you around here.

I'm Toni from Columbia, SC. Lived in SC since childhood. Met my wife in high school and got married at a young age. Learned to ride bikes a little later in life(I think I was 3o). A bit embarrassed about things that happened in my life so I'll stop now.

Hope to have a good relationship with everyone.

Thanks!

New guy here. Mike from near Union Bridge, Maryland. I chose to live where I do for many reasons. I'm close to Gettysburg PA, excellent roads to ride on, photographic opportunities, and in farm country - great produce.

I'm Harley from South Carolina. I'm a 35 year old freelance web developer as of now(because of COVID). I ride a 2019 Bonneville Bobber.

I hope you're all having a good time.

The @SMJoe post mentioning Keith (Stickman Yogi) got me thinking about the old days and the people that were once regular posters. So of course, I read through this thread and did a little reminiscing. Brought back a lot of good memories of those who left the forum and those who left this world (R.I.P.).

It's been a dozen years since my post in this thread, but not much has changed. I'm still in the same place. Still married. Still have my '06 BA, but even though I retired from the USPS in 2012, I seem to have even less time to ride. The 2006 BIG Ruckus I bought back in 2009 or so to "put aside for my old age" has now become my vehicle of choice. Not because I like it better, but because I rarely get to put on any serious miles and for running errands in town, a scooter just works better. But boy do I feel good when I do get a chance to run through those Triumph gears!

I don't check in here as often as I once did, but still have a soft spot in my heart for this place. Keep up the good work folks - I'll still be lurking.
