It's 29 degrees outside and the wind is howling. Business isn't what it should be this close to Christmas. And I've only ridden twice since the time change. Is it time for a vacation?

It's not only time for a vacation it's time for a ride!!! It's in the single digits here and in the negative with the wind we had last weekend. Just went out to the garage to show a friend my new bike and it looks so lonely!!!!!

I've got more business than I need, haven't even decorated for Christmas or sent out my cards. God Bless you and yours. Merry Christmas.

Ah, come on Eddie, cheer up dude!

I think all you might need right now is some LAUGHTER in your life. YEAH, THAT'S IT!!!

And lucky YOU, this website HERE just happens to have a thread runnin' RIGHT NOW titled "Some Global Warming 'Humor'" that should brighten your dreary little day RIGHT UP!!!

Uh huh, and if readin' THAT doesn't cheer your azz up, then sorry dude, there's no hope for ya AT ALL!!!

(though BTW, I gotta warn ya.."somehow" that thread has seemed to have morphed into a few treatises and suppositions about some kind'a conspiracy about that topic courtesy of the "Usual Suspects", BUT just ignore them, 'cuz remember, you ONLY need the JOKES in that thread to cheer your depressed butt up here, ol' buddy!!!)

OMFSM, I WISH it was 29 degrees. Mother nature is threatening to raise the temperature up to single digits below zero for the first time in several days.

AH, but it's a beautiful BIG SKY cold! We are due to get a cold front, dropping the temps into the 70s....Brrrrrr. Had to put on long sleeve shirt to ride today. The electric bill will finally drop to about $100.

later, Tom.

OMFSM? Oh My Frozen Speed Master?

But, what do I know?

Yeah, I hear ya Tom! Looks like it might "only" reach about 60 today here in La La Land!!!

In FACT it's makin' me think I might take, say, "only" a half an hour ride or so today to Hermosa Beach and sit outside at my usual table at the Starbucks there. That, of course, is IF I can stand this "bitter cold" for even THAT long!!!

(BTW TOM...I don't think you or I should ever work for any of those mental health help lines out there...there could be a spike in the suicide rates up north if we ever did, ya see!!!)

Yeah...I thought the same thing. I had to double take then when I looked at my temp gauge and saw 15 I think I felt my balls retract so fast I think they bounced off my lungs. I may have even shivered.

Okay folks, I've just returned from my ride to Hermosa Beach. And while I was there sippin' my Starbuck's coffee I got to thinkin' how WRONG it was of me to say those earlier remarks about all that "60 degree" stuff and about how I might have to cut my ride a little short today out here 'cuz of maybe "gettin' a little chilled"!

Yep, I have to admit I was wrong!

'Cuz ya see, once I sat out there with my coffee and started admiring that new bobbed rear fender on my BA that was parked about 10 feet away while soakin' up some of those rays comin' from that bright ol' sun situated in that clear blue and windless sky above me, well...it ACTUALLY felt a little more like it was in the low 70s!!!

And so once again, I apologize for bein' soooooo wrong, and I HOPE you folks REALLY freezin' your azzes off out there today will forgive me!

(ain't I a stinker???!!!)

Eeh!!! You can just forget about THAT right now, Cyndy!!!

Ya see, the wife contacted a lawyer about that YEARS AGO, and he told her THEN that that unless she could get it all on video and PROVE all this heartache was REALLY comin' from me, she wouldn't have a case!!!

(it's called "Reasonable Doubt" ya see...and WHO'S to say that what you're readin' here is REALLY comin' from the fingers of that person known as "Dwight" around here, HUH?!...people DO KNOW how to hack into other people's computers nowdays, ya know!!!)

I'm still caught up in the EddieB's "funk" canundrum. Now I'm wondering if George & Bill Clinton are somehow strangely related. Maybe the answer lies in how you define "cousins", or "is" Maybe this hijacked thread has tossed the old boy into a Grand Funk

Nah John, even thought Eddie here DID say that his business is a little down at the moment, I don't think we've derailed THIS railroad..err..I mean THREAD near enough to have caused Eddie to just give up and stop...ahem..."talkin' care of business, EVERYDAY!"

29? You guys must be having a heatwave there! Here, it's seldom reached 20 for the last several days. The other day, I took the puppy out in the morning and it was nice and sunny, so I thought I would go out to the shop to get some tools to work around the house. I was getting out my block plane when it got dark and started sleeting so hard it sounded like a halestorm.

Actually, I felt like I was in a rut. Don't know why, but I get this way when the days are short and cold. I'm jonesing for a ride.

On a good note, I went in for the annual doctors check up and I didn't hear the snap of the rubber glove.

Also checked out the newly expanded Triumph shop in Little Rock yesterday. Two thumbs up.

I guess im going to have to find me a place up north for the winter and get out of this warm sunshine , ok time to go on another ride to humm where to ?????
