Well, ok, truth be known, I just can't stand the thought of Pat being faster than me with his big bore Wiseco kit, so I've been fabbing up an extra pair of cylinders to give me a parallel 4!! We'll see who's your daddy now Pat!! Ha ha!!

Nah, when I was doing the valve clearance check this weekend, I removed both Igniter Cables and the left side Ingition Coil to remove the Cam Cover, just like always, without problem. Well, when I was putting the right side Igniter cable back into the terminal well for the Ignition Coil, the terminal just collapsed into the boot, folded up like a cheap piece of tin foil!!! I straightened it back out, and closed up the terminal so it would hold firmly on the Ignition coil terminal, but it felt pretty flimsy when I straightened the terminal out (it is only copper or brass), and I can just picture this little sucker failing as we're rolling through the mountains in May. So I figured, should be able to get one from the dealer, and then they hit me with that nonsense. I guess I'll leave it for now. I'm pulling the cam cover back off this weekend to remeasure the valves with my trusty new feeler gage, but this time I'll just remove the whole Ingition coil and cable as a single piece. Not taking chances! Just sucks that they are gouging us that bad for a spark plug cable!!! OH, another dealer near Columbia, SC says about $70 for a pair, so we know where I'll be taking my business if I do decide to pony up the money.
