I had the same thing happen to me last month on an island while touring 2-up around Greece.
However, I managed to get away with just a bent back brake pedal which scraped all along his front bumber (fender) and number plate (tag).
Don't ask me how I managed to avoid him because I was sliding all over the place and eventually ended up on a pavement (sidewalk) taking my friend Kathy for some window shopping.
It was the little @&%#'s first day in a brand-new car (he actually called his Mommy).
I'm sorry to hear of your bad luck but am glad that what's "most" important is undamaged.
