I'm home and all is well. In fact I just got out of bed at 11:00. Today is a day of rest and try to get the dirt off the bike.
Krashdragon and I got on the road about 10 am at Pat's. First part of 90 west was a little wet then blue skys, clouds, and one
h@ll of a cross wind. Had to drop it down to 65 to stay on the road.
I know the speed limit is 65 but why were the trucks passing me like I was standing still?
Rain suits gone about 60 miles from Pat's.
Got a little wet in PA on I90 then mostly clear. Rain suit never came back on until 30 miles from Indy.
Krashdragon(mary)got off at Medina, OH off I271, so. of Cleveland. She should have gotten home a little after 4 pm.
I continued on south on I71 to Columbus then west on I70 to Indy.
I rolled in at 10pm last night Exactly 12 hours in the saddle with 5 gas and butt stops.
I just totalled up the miles for the whole weekend and I put 1380 on my bike this weekend.
Had a great time, meeting new friends and recognizing old ones from the GA rally.
Thanks Jane and Pat for opening your home to all of us and your brother is a great cook.
Hope to see everyone again. Time to clean the NY dirt from my bike.
