Changed the rear shocks on my mother's 73 Chevy Impala. I only had 1 extension with me and had trouble reaching the top bolts. So, I jacked the car up till the wheels were off the ground and it was more "comfy" for me to lay under there and reach those bolts. Man, were they tight coming out!
I finally realized why when the axle dropped and hit me in the face.......
