Paula, I have Brents low profile seat. It will lower you into the frame and if you have a short inseam, will definitely get you closer to the ground. It won't push you any further back, it just lowers you. The seat looks great on the bike. I have a Yellow Speedie with Brents brown and black flame seat. After riding for a couple of years with the stock seat, it took a little while to get used to a new riding position. Seat is comfortable for short rides, 50 miles or so. Switch back to stock for the long hauls. I ride my Harley Springer for longer trips. Much heavier and less "buzz" than the Triumph. The seat looks great on our bikes...highly recommended.
