I was just wondering if any of you guys have purchased a new seat other than corbin. I am looking for a new seat. Something maybe in a different color or style. Or maybe with a skin cover. I have been looking at corbin and there seat standered is 449.00. I have been told by corbin that there seats are mostly for the long riders. Meaning if you ride long distance they become more comfortable. That may not be for me. If you can name any other seat companies i would like to hear it with your experience with them.

You can often find local shops to do seats. Ask around or look in the yellow pages and make some calls.

You haven't bought anything from Brent yet? He's the best! I would say he's the #1 aftermarket vendor for our bikes.

I have the low profile seat from newbonneville.com. It's a quality seat and is really quite comfortable. I wouldn't want to ride it cross country, but for for day rides its great. Brent is a stand up guy, and is extremely easy to deal with. All of my dealings with him have been great. Lots of us here have dealt with him, and have been happy. He also a member of BA.com which is always a plus.

Yes I have bought from Brent. I am contacting BCC direct for a seat. I am looking for a custom made seat. I like the low profile,but i would like a different leather. I don't know if Brent can handle this,that is why i emailed the company direct.

This is my seat and I had Clint make it for me(I live 20 minutes away). I used some of his design and I added the daggers through the skull protruding out the back.

The seat has finally broken in and is good for a 1/2 day(6 hours) ride. I sold my corbin and my stock seat to have it made.
Expect a true old school seat. Its basically a tattoo on a seat. Enjoy.

Great seat. I talked to Clint,and your seat is very much what i am looking for. In fact he mentioned doing this one. My bike is also green and I think the darker brown works well with the bike color. I am going to go with him. I am deciding what to carve into it. I was thinking the triumph logo,just a thought. I will have to decide on a design. Thanks for the shot,it really covinced me. Doug

Mark Case of BCC is a member here. He had a really nice bobber named Bruiser. I had Mark make a fender bib to match my low profile seat. He was really easy to deal with. I'm assuming Clint works with/for Mark?

Since you guys are talking about seats just thought I'd ask what any of you think about the Triumph replacement seats. Right now I'm looking at the touring or roadster. The stock seat is fine for two maybe three hours, but after that OUCH!!

I'am looking at sending my stock seats out to Butt Buffer.
The cost for the driver is $140.00. Both seats are $225.00.I'am looking for a more comfortable ride but keeping it stock. They install some hitech stuff in your seat custom fit. Anyone else try this?

Welcome Pete great to see more people from NH. I dont know what it is about fall but in last 2 days I have meet 3 people on BA/speedies that I had never seen around here before.

Nice to hear the good feedback about the low profile seat fom newbonneville.com....I'm waiting for mine to come in....when will my phone ring???? I can't wait! I ordered it through my dealership.

why not order it direct from Brent ?

Couple of things to engrave into the seat:
-"Made in England"
-Crossed checkard and british flags
-RAT Logo
-New or old (Hinkley or Meridian) "Triumph" logo
-Flames
-Tribal design

Just let the seat be your palette... I'm sure there are a million different ideas out there.

Pete, I have the Butt Buffer installed in my seat. Doesn't make a bit of difference. You would be better served by putting your $$ toward a Corbin or Rick Mayer(I'm leaning towards Ricks).

Paula, I have Brents low profile seat. It will lower you into the frame and if you have a short inseam, will definitely get you closer to the ground. It won't push you any further back, it just lowers you. The seat looks great on the bike. I have a Yellow Speedie with Brents brown and black flame seat. After riding for a couple of years with the stock seat, it took a little while to get used to a new riding position. Seat is comfortable for short rides, 50 miles or so. Switch back to stock for the long hauls. I ride my Harley Springer for longer trips. Much heavier and less "buzz" than the Triumph. The seat looks great on our bikes...highly recommended.

The fender bib was $50 back when Mark made mine, but that was a while ago. I haven't seen him on the boards in quite some time. I'm sure Brent at newbonneville could probably hook you up with one.
