I to am an old dude, and just today I had another old dude ask me if my bike was a new one or an old one. I told him it was a new one and his reply was"thats nice, does it have the lucas ignition?" No it doesnt,I replied, it has the best of both new and old. Well he said, Thats good. I have a huricane in my garage that I have owned since it was new and it is a ****** to get going if you dont tinker with it.Just another old guys view of the new and old. After all, we are supposed to progress and improve, right? Dont get me wrong. The old bikes are classics but the new ones have improved.
